Piercings

I have a love for piercings. I got my first lobes done as a baby, second at 18 and third at 19. I got my cartilage (helix) done at 19 and my nose also done at 19. I'm craving for more piercings. I'm such a big fan of Key that I'm thinking of getting my conch done next as a reminder that I am a Locket. This piercing, unlike most of my others, will have meaning to them. Not too sure if I will get it this year or next year. It's strange how music or rather people in music can influence your decisions. I don't think I would have even thought to get a conch piercing had I not discovered Key.
Sometime after I get my memorable and meaningful conch piercing, I may go and get my helix on my left ear (currently one on right ear). Possibly fourth holes? Or triple forward helix? The possibilities for piercings are endless.

The Mind of a Locket

My mother asked me "Why do you like SHINee so much? Is this just a phase?" I told her that I love SHINee because they are talented, the shone from their very first performance and it's not a phase. "Are any of the members your favorite?" Why yes, Key. And the conversation went on to "Why do you love Key? You've never met the guy." And thus it began.

Why do I love Key? It was stated in my first post. He's talented, beautiful, smart, and has a wonderful personality. Although people do say, "You can't always believe what you see on TV", I believe that Key is truly  the same way in real life as he is on TV. After I explained that to her, we went shopping for a few things, and I realized, there is always something somewhere that reminds me of Key. Then the possibilities of meeting him begin playing in my mind. "How will I see them? In the SM World Tour...? No..well maybe..." For a Locket that's never met him and loves him from afar, like many other Lockets, this always seems to flow into our minds. How will we react upon meeting Key? Will we try to impress him? Befriend him? Alas, we'll never know exactly what we'll do, even if we plan it because in reality, meeting him will bring so many unexpected feelings, tears, laughter, who knows. But despite all that, we all wish to see him and have that one personal encounter with him that could set our futures into motion. 'Tis all but a fairy tale...for now :)

A Locket? + Introduction

Yes a Locket. What's a Locket you might ask? Those that are Key biased are Lockets. Now..who is this "Key" fellow? Key is one of the most talented men I've ever seen. He is one of the members in the five member group SHINee. Key can rap, sing, dance, and act, earning him the nickname of Almighty Key.
Now is it just because of these talents that there are Key biased fans out there? Possibly. But there's more than just his talents. Key is gorgeous. From the time of SHINee's debut, May 25 2008, to now, Key has matured and has only become more gorgeous. Wait, is that even possible? Ha, well looking at progression pictures of him on google, yes, it is very possible. But now we've heard he's talented and gorgeous..but is that all fans fall for? For some, yes, for me, no. His personality is beautiful. He's funny and smart. He also acts as the "umma" in SHINee. If someone has to do it, might as well be him right? He's just about perfect to millions of girls. How so many wish they could be his Juliette :)

Now that I've said what a Locket is, I'll give a bit of info about myself. The name's Erica. I'm a university student majoring in biomedical science and minoring in music. Two completely different things, but hey, gotta do what you enjoy. I'm obviously a fan of SHINee. I intend on auditioning for SM in the next coming year. I want to be able to prove to people that I have talents, I can sing, I can dance, you just have to give me the chance. I also love Hello Kitty. My room is slowly being decked out in Hello Kitty. My favorite color is blue and I love anime and manga. I think that's just about it. I hope you enjoy my blog, as I'll be making a post every few days. :)
